James Sunderland
James' beloved wife Mary passed away a three years ago, and ever since he has been in a state of constant mourning for his lost. He spent his lifeless days wasting away until he received a letter, a letter singed "Mary Sunderland" his dead wife. The letter beckoned him to return to Silent Hill. A place that held great meaning for the both of them.
Mary Sunderland
Mary died three years ago from a terrible illness and left behind her loving husband James. But is she really dead? And if so how did she send James the letter calling him back to their place of memory in the town of Silent Hill.
Maria
Maria ends up finding James while he is searching for his wife in Silent Hill. Maria bares very similar looks to James' wife Mary although her personality and tastes in clothing is completely different. For some reason she ends up tagging along with James as he wonders though Silent Hill looking for Mary.
Laura
Laura is a young girl who was a patient at the same hospital as Mary, having no real mother of her own she thinks of Mary as her mother. For this reason she has also come to Silent Hill to look for her. While she is in Silent Hill she is not trapped in the nightmare that the others are in. She crosses James several times, and to James, she seems to know allot more about Mary than she is letting on.
Angela Orosco
Angela a very strange woman and is the first person James meets in Silent Hill. She seems to suffer from a depression. From a young age she was convinced that she would never be happy. When she was in high school she ran away from home several times but was dragged back home by her father, but this time she has ran away from home to the town of Silent Hill and has become lost.
Eddie Dombrowski
Eddie is a young man who has been teased a lot for his weight problem. He is usually a very nice and caring man, but he also has a very bad anger problem. Because he can get so mad so easy he ends up not being able to control himself and ends up hurting people. But the real question is, why has he come to Silent Hill? And who or what called him here?
Pyramid Head
Pyramid Head is a terrifying monster running through Silent Hill. P.H. attacks James, the other people trapped in Silent Hill, and even the other monsters. P.H. is a terrible mannafestion of James' inner hate and anger for himself and faces with off with James many times as he searches for his wife Mary within Silent Hill.
